August update

So Dan is finally done with the Summer semester! He had his last finals and did very well. He has not gotten his final grades back yet but from what he was able to keep track of it looks like all A's!! We are so excited for him to start the Fall semester on the 31st of this month. He is a little worried about juggling work, school and family life. He did well this summer, he just hopes he can do it all and keep up the grades.
Work is going very well for him! He's been getting more hours and been able to get some homework done with the new position as U.B. ("Usher w/ booth experience", AKA: Projectionist) . Minimum wage went up last month, and since he is such a good employ they added on the raise he was suppose to get before minimum wage had gone up (they didn't do this for all the employee's but they did mention he was an especially good worker). I have to stop and thank Daniel's parents for teaching him such a good work ethic. The general manager also mentioned to the regional manager in passing that Dan was being considered for a management position. It was not mentioned to him before and it has not come up since then but we'll see!
I'm getting ready to put in my transfer papers to BYU, for winter 2010. If I get in we'll have some more praying to do. For now that was our answer to many prayers. I'm getting ready to start a fun sewing project which I could not be more excited about!! I love being at home!
Dan and I are on the activities comity for our ward. We've been enjoying it so much!
Hannah started walking this last Sunday, as can be seen from the video. She's also getting in her top two teeth! Yay! It's good to see the end in sight. Getting in the top two teeth has not been a fun experience but they have finally broken through the gum's. She's getting into EVERYTHING despite my many attempts to put up barracades! She loves when I read books to her. She loves going to our library and exploring in the children's section. There's a fun little pit that has stairs that she LOVEs climbing; she especially loves it when you chase her up the stairs. Hannah has been doing great with sleeping through the night. She'll sleep 12 hours straight and then wake up for a feeding and then go right back to sleep for another hour or two! We're excited to celebrate her 1st birthday in another 8 weeks!!
Well, to close the post I'll just kind of list what we have planned so far for Daniel's two weeks off of school. We're going to go to Moab and camping for 2 nights, going to go hiking to the hot springs near Spanish Fork, going shooting, going swimming at a local pool, going to Thanksgiving point because they have $2 Tuesdays during this month, and we're going to get a personal day where the one will watch Hannah, while the other goes to have some fun! I'm especially looking forward to some time just for me: I love my little girl but it will be nice to get a very small break!!!! That's all we have planned so far!
Love you guys!
