December 2012 Part 2

The third week in December, was the Credit Suisse Christmas Family Party.  I'm not going to lie, it was pretty impressive. The one down side is that it was on a Thursday, in the middle of the day 10am-2pm.  So Dan was working and it was kind of crazy trying to get the four of us out the door in time (it amazes me when we can get to preschool at 10 am in time, and that is a lot closer!)  When we got there they had a magic show going.  They had 6-7 long tables set up in 3 conjoined conference rooms that had crafts that included picture frames, Christmas tree ornaments, jingle bell necklaces, snowmen coasters, cups the kids could decorate, they had a face painter who did these elaborate designs, a place where you could collect your photo taken with Santa, and a snack and drink table. They had pinatas for different age groups and the girls made out like bandits!  They got to both sit on Santa's lap and receive ornaments (they both chose gold stars).  I was surprised how Bella walked right up to Santa and sat on his lap, she had no fear and this was her first time meeting Santa.  They provided lunch for the kids.  They had subway and it was really neat because they had boxes that had a 6" sub, a cookie, and chips!  I thought it was pretty cool.  After lunch they had a snow machine outside where you could go sledding down a hill.  Like a said, cool. The girl's had a blast!  Mommy was exhausted at the end of all this :)  What I enjoyed was getting to see where Dan works and getting to meet most of his co-workers. Dan didn't get to stay with us very much because he was busy working. I only took a picture of Hannah's face painting:

She was VERY happy about her butterfly wings.
