Christmas 2014

We had a great Christmas this year!  The girls had holiday parties at their schools and Dan's work had a family party all on the same.  We had a very busy day on Friday, December 19th! I dropped Hannah off at the bus stop, ran Bella into her preschool, drove to Dan's work with the two younger kids for a fun day of face painting, balloon animals, games, crafts and lunch. Then I drove to Bella's school to decorate a gingerbread house and for her party, after the party we drove over to the Elementary school where Bella receives speech therapy to having the exiting therapy meeting (Bella is officially done with speech therapy!!!), and then we drove home in time to pick Hannah up from the school bus.  Tons of fun!

We had a small dinner with our family Christmas Eve and then opened up one present (new jammies) and then watched The Nativity. All the kids were hilarious with their comments but were also quiet at all the right moments.  Dan's Aunt, Victoria, arrived just after we finished watching the movie so we watched it a second time and then put the kids to bed after placing some cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer out on the piano bench. We stayed up until midnight wrapping presents and chatting.

Christmas morning, Hannah came in at 7:30 am and was SO excited!  Bella, Charlie and Faith were all dazed and tired :). While opening presents we received a phone call from Dan's mom and had a chance to talk to her for a while!  We then had a delicious, big breakfast of apple turnovers, almond danish pastry, cream cheese eggs, bacon, pineapple, orange juice and hot chocolate. We Skyped with my mom in the afternoon. We received her gifts yesterday and had a fun second Christmas!!

Here's some fun pictures from the last week:
